Cleaning the liver and kidneys and making them better able to handle toxins, as well as providing antiseptic action to control bacteria and other pathogens, also makes LKSC a premier tonic for skin disorders.Acne is often caused in teenagers by the liver becoming overloaded with processing the excess hormones of youth combined with the additional task of processing too much sugar and damaged oils like hydrogenated oils (in margarine and many processed foods) and trans fats (in fried foods).Acne can also occur in adults whose liver is so congested that it send toxins to the skin to be excreted, where common bacteria feed on them and cause inflammation.LKSC helps in all of these cases.

Ingredients:Extracts of dandelion root, burdock root, turmeric root, fennel seeds, yellowdock root, barberry root bark, ginger root, and milk thistle seed (silymarin); vegetable glycerin, ascorbic acid, mixed tocopherols.30% alcohol.

Directions:Shake before use.Use 1/4 to 1/2 tsp one to three times per day.Mix into water to lessen strong taste - use hot water to evaporate alcohol if desired.A good program for an intensive regimen is to use 1/4 tsp with breakfast and lunch and 1/2 tsp at night.May be taken in amounts as high as 1 full teaspoon after building up. There are 96 1/4 tsp servings per 4 oz bottle.

Notes:The alkaloids in LKSC herbs continue to react with the ascorbic acid to form a small amount of carbon dioxide after it is bottled.This is good since it displaces oxygen and greatly extends storage life, but it may make a small “pfft” sound when the bottle is first opened or after sitting a long period.

Also note that at one time LKSC was provided with a dropper bottle but no longer is since it is hard to use a dropper with a large 4oz bottle. The label may still have directions for use by dropper. 1 full dropper = 1/4 tsp. 2 full droppers = 1/2 tsp.
