Prevaccination Regimen

It is not likely necessary to warn a reader this far into Electroherbalism about the potential dangers of vaccinations - the possible contaminant pathogens, amounts of neurotoxic heavy metals that far exceed FDA guidelines for safety, and chemicals, not to mention the actual viruses or pieces of them in a vaccine. But, if a person must take a vaccine, there are measures that may help minimize the potential for damage.

From a dialogue on the Electroherbalism listserver:

I have recently been putting some thought into what to do if I or a family member were coerced into taking a vaccination. Someone recently asked me the question, whose kid is about to enter a college where a meningitis vaccination is required for entry, so I figured this was a good time to come up wtih a pre vaccination regimen.

I don't know whether this is a vaccination against viral or bacterial meningitis, but since bacterial is the deadly form, I would assume it is this one. But, I have never been able to figure out why vaccinations are given against bacteria. They are not like viruses where the body can actually build an immunity to them. The MDs who give them I have talked to don't really have a clear idea, either. One said that it is so the immune system will "see" the pathogen once and be better able to recognize it in the future. Then if it was encountered again the body would have a reaction such as fever and inflammation earlier, and the problem would become apparent more quickly while there was still time to combat the disease. Yeah, I thought it sounded like BS, too.

Here is what I have considered so far for a Prevaccination Regimen:

1. Use a supplement with silymarin for at least a few days beforehand. It protects the liver from chemicals and probably also provides the liver a good deal of protection against toxic metals plus protein fragments and metabolic products, and other debris from bacteria and viruses.

2. Use vitamin C before and after a vaccination. Packets of Emergen-C are portable and convenient and since they have some minerals in them too, they are a good choice. They can even be found at Walmart these days. Use two packets within an hour before and 2 packets within an hour after the vaccination, then continue to take 1 or more packets per hour afterwards until there is a flush (diarrhea). Use a cup of water with each packet. Don't take emergen-C at night since the B-12 in it may cause sleeplessness.

It was probably 20 years ago, before I knew anything about complementary health but this still stuck with me - I read in some periodical about a medical team that was vaccinating children in Africa, and the death toll was astronomical, I think in the 10% range - for every 10 kids they vaccinated, 1 died soon afterwards. I would guess from this that it is a much worse idea to vaccinate unhealthy, malnourtished children than it is healthy ones! One of the nurses found that if you gave the kids 200mg of vitamin C beforehand, that only 1 in 100 died from the vaccination. I guess she should have gotten some kind of Florence Nightingale award for this.

Anyway, those are the main two supplements I would use. I would also probably use a protein digesting anti-inflammatory enzyme like bromelain in high amounts before and after, too.

Perhaps Nutribiotic Meta-C would be a better choice than the Alacer product since it is vitamin C bound to phytoplankton. The powder tastes awful (to me) but tablets are available.

Any other suggestions?

Renee: Well, I'm not real sure how this would relate to a human vaccination, but I read in a natural pet rearing book that if a dog HAD to have a rabies vac, then you should take a half lemon slice with you and as soon as the vet's back is turned or you get outside, you are suppose to rub the lemon over the shot area. There's something in the lemon that stops the vac from traveling through the body. Guess this wouldn't hurt to try with a child, as I can't see it could possibly do any harm, even if it did nothing at all otherwise.

I came up with another couple of suggestions, although these are much more theoretical than the vitamin C and silymarin and they are echinacea and high voltages.

Echinacea should help if there were any live viruses and perhaps also help against protein components and other debris of killed viruses. Its main action is to stop viruses from entering cells by deactivating the enzymes they produce that allows them to invade and spread, which would seem to be a good action whether there were live viruses or not. Echinacea also boosts white blood cell activity so they might be more competent to deal with the viruses plus toxic metals and chemicals. However, increased white blood cell counts and activity can increase inflammation (especially in blood type O's), and this is what causes most of the damage if there is an allergic or other immediate reaction to the vaccination. Using with plenty of vitamin C before and afterwards should serve to minimize the chances of this occurring, but it is still something to consider.

Mentioning the lemon rubbed on the vaccination site gave me another idea, although when I consider it, perhaps the lemon would work even better than the following.

High voltages detoxify venoms and could probably help against other toxins, especially if done soon after the injection. The most portable high voltage device is a piezoelectric gas grill sparker. Maybe using this numerous times around the injection site would provide a little additional benefit. Better would probably be the method used by some aussies in the outback to combat poisonous snake bites and that is applying either the spark plug wire from a lawnmower or touching the area to an electric fence, but these would not be quite as convenient to drag into a doctor's office.

Flu Shots Increase Chances of Alzheimer's - Hugh Fudenberg, MD, an immunogeneticist and biologist with nearly 850 papers published in peer review journals, has reported that if an individual had five consecutive flu shots between 1970 and 1980 (the years studied), his/her chances of getting Alzheimer's Disease is ten times higher than if they had zero, one, or two shots. There Are More Toxins in Vaccines Than Mercury from Mercola.com blog

I devote a great deal of space to the dangers still associated with one component of vaccines -- mercury. Just as troubling and health-harming is what drugmakers have replaced mercury with. Topping the list is aluminum hydroxide, used in hepatitis A and B and the Pentacel "cocktail," a vaccine that "protects" against tetanus, polio, petussis, diphtheria and a form of meningitis. Scientists have inked aluminum hydroxide to symptoms of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease).

What makes this news even more alarming: U.S, drugmakers are currently testing aluminum hydroxide as an additive in flu shots to determine their potency.

Scientists discovered the link after injecting mice with an anthrax vaccine developed for the first Gulf War. After 20 weeks, a fifth of the mice developed a skin allergy, anxieties rose almost 40 percent and memory problems exploded (by 41 times compared to the placebo group). And, inside the brains of mice, 35 percent of the cells that control movement were destroyed.

Aluminum hydroxide is one harmful additive among many -- think MSG and phenoxyethanol (used to make antifreeze) -- found in vaccines. No wonder drugmakers were angling to be protected from lawsuits in a bill passed late last year by the House for a fake flu epidemic.
